Youth Work

Rebecca has worked extensively with youth productions and workshops,  including with Youth Music Theatre UK, Scottish Youth Theatre, Hampshire Youth Theatre, Nuffield Youth Theatre, Whizz Kids Theatre Company, Cambridge. 

Rebecca also has experience of teaching and working with young people in other forms of educational projects.  She has held the position of Composer in Residence at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge and at Wellington College, Berkshire.  The latter post involved a large-scale composition project, creating a new full length musical from scratch with 18 composition students.  Rebecca then mounted the resulting show, Merlin's Tale, with a student cast and band, undertaking both the direction and musical direction of the show.

Rebecca is an examiner for both Edexcel and AQA AS Composition and gives tutorials and consultation sessions to young people studying for A-Level Music.
