Rebecca has much experience of composing for theatre and has written new musicals, underscoring for plays, Shakespeare productions, ballet and children's shows.

Youth Work

Rebecca works frequently with youth theatre companies, both composing shows, and running workshops in musical theatre.

Youth Music Theatre: UK
Rebecca has been the musical director/composer on several residential studios with YMT:UK including in Tunbridge Wells, Warwick and Banbury.  She is due to work on the Hemel Hempsted studio this summer.

In 2004 she was the Assistant musical director on 'Orvin' with National Youth Music Theatre at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough, with Alan Ayckbourn directing.

Hertfordshire Youth Theatre
Rebecca has composed for 'Arabian Nights' for the youth theatre, shown at Watford Palace Theatre in the Autumn 2007.  She is currently composing for 'Success', to be performed at Watford Palace in March 2009.

Hampshire Youth Theatre
Rebecca has worked on The Odyssey, and Fly Away Parvel, Fly Away Piotr with Hampshire Youth Theatre.

Whizz Kids Theatre Company
Rebecca was the MD on Whizz Kid's production of Tommy in 2006

Bedford and District Cerebral Palsy Society
Rebecca has helped to lead workshops with Full House Theatre Company, working with children with cerebral palsy.  In the Spring of 2008 this led to a performance by the children of their musical 'Let Your Hair Down', and we are currently working on this Easter's project.
