Classical Composition

Rebecca has a particular interest in composing  liturgical music for choirs and would like to explore further possibilities in this field.  In her roles as Composer in Residence at Hills Road Sixth Form College and Wellington College, she has composed commissions for choirs and orchestra.

Compositions

• Requiem - a large-scale work for four part choir, solo quartet, and chamber orchestra
  
• The Linden Tree - carol for four part choir, two violins and organ
  
• Gabriel's Message - carol for four-part choir and organ
  
• Sleep Lord Jesus - carol for four-part choir, soloist and harp
  
• The Lord's Prayer - winner of the competition for a new setting for Broomwood Hall School, performed at Southwark
  Cathedral
  
• The Dream Canvas - a symphonic tone poem inspired by the painting of the same name
